After announcing a return earlier this year as well as a tour with Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice has been hard at work on a brand new studio album, slated to release sometime next year. To give fans an update and clear up any confusion, LS vocalist/guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh issued this update...
"Hi All - just wanted to say thank you for coming out to see us on the Demon Hunter Stronger Than Hell Tour. It was truly a great time and a lot of fun. Every one who came and let us know what the band means and has meant to them was very special. A big thank you to the Demon Hunter guys for the tour as well. Now some news on the new music.First off, "Death Machine" is NOT the new record. "Death Machine" and "The Battle" are 2 new songs that we have done independently and released for digital download only. These songs WILL NOT be on the new record that we are currently writing. So the only way to get the songs is from the Bandbox player on the front of our myspace as well as itunes. Yep, they are both available on itunes now. The angel imagery is from none other than Dave Quiggle. We are also working on releasing these songs on 7 inch vinyl.
Finally, we are working on a new record that we hope will be released in early 2009. We are stoked on the new music and we hope you will be as well. thanks so much for your support. If you would like to help more, please put "Death Machine" or "The Battle" on your profile and spread the word.
God Bless you. Metal Forever!Bruce LS"
